The restaurant industry is already under huge pressure in the UK and therefore it is perhaps no surprise that Nando's have acted quickly to protect their brand (intellectual property) when a local Reading entrepreneur opened up a new chicken restaurant called Fernando's. Despite a very similar image, name and menu, the owner of the local business claims that he is being bullied by the Nando's chain.
