AQA Business - Strategic Direction
A new range of materials aimed at supporting teachers of the AQA A Level in Business. This presentation is designed to cover the topic of choosing strategic direction and has been adapted to meet the specific requirements of the AQA specification. The presentation analyses the strategic options available to a business with a specific reference to Ansoff’s Matrix. It examines the 4 main strategic directions suggested by Ansoff and analyses their strengths and weaknesses. Specifically it looks at market penetration, market development, product development and finally diversification. It then concludes with an assessment of the reasons for choosing and the value of, different options with regards to strategic direction. The pack contains the Quick Fire Five knowledge questions, a short objective test and an essay question all complete with suggested answers.
