These slides are designed to support the delivery of 3.3 Marketing Mix: Promotion. The presentation starts with an examination of the objectives and usefulness of promotion before then proceeding to analyse the concepts of advertising, sales promotions and direct promotions.  It then examines developments in digital promotion including SEOs and social media.  It concludes with an assessment of the roles of both packaging and also branding in the promotional mix. The slides contain the Quick Fire Five questions and also a practice essay (both with solutions).
