A new range of PowerPoint resources aimed at assisting teachers with the delivery of the CAIE (9609) A-level Business specification. These slides are designed to support the delivery of 1.3.2 Significance of Small Businesses . The slides commence with a brief examination of the reasons why small businesses are able to survive against larger competitors before then assessing the benefits and drawbacks of operating as a small business.  Family businesses are then examined with a look at their major advantages and disadvantages before an assessment of the impact of small businesses upon the economies in which they operate.  Finally, the presentation concludes with a look at how small businesses can assist larger firms in some industries.  The slides contain the Quick Fire Five questions and also a practice extended answer question (both with suggested solutions).
