A new range of materials aimed at supporting teachers of the Edexcel GCSE (9-1) in Business. This presentation is designed to cover the topic of business and globalisation and has been designed to meet the specific requirements of the Edexcel 1BS0 specification. The presentation considers the impact of globalisation upon business with an initial focus upon imports, exports, changing business locations and competition from overseas. It then goes on to look at examples of barriers to international trade such as tariffs and trade blocs, before concluding with ways in which businesses are able to compete internationally with a look at the impact made by e-commerce and how businesses can change their marketing mix to better meet the needs of each market they operate within. The pack contains a starter and plenary activities, class activities, knowledge questions, key word definitions and an examination style question, all complete with suggested answers.
